Dr. Daphne Gondhalekar is a Research Scientist and Team Leader at the Chair of Urban Water Systems Engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where she has worked since 2013. Trained in architecture and urban design (University of Glasgow, ETH Zurich), she earned her PhD in Urban Planning from the University of Tokyo and continued her international academic trajectory at MIT and the Center for Development Research (ZEF), University of Bonn.
Her research focuses on integrated urban resource management, with a particular emphasis on the Water–Energy–Food–Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus. She develops interdisciplinary approaches to redesign urban systems, enhance climate resilience, and promote sustainability. Dr. Gondhalekar also contributes to several international expert networks, including the International Expert Group on Earth System Preservation, Scientists for Future, and UN-Habitat’s Planners for Climate Action.

As an Associate Expert at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Sven leads the Global Partnership for Hydrogen in Industry and advises member states on hydrogen policy, market development, and industrial applications. He implements technical assistance projects across Northern and Southern Africa, focusing on skills development, low-carbon fertilizer production, and financing mechanisms.
With extensive fieldwork across the African continent, professional experience in ten countries, and C2 fluency in three languages, Sven combines global perspective and technical expertise to advance sustainable industrial solutions.

Professor Mubo A. Sonibare is a distinguished Pharmacognosy scholar specializing in biodiversity conservation and medicinal plant research. She holds a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. from the University of Ibadan and has over 29 years of teaching, research, and academic leadership experience. She has served in several key roles, including Head of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Programme Coordinator at PAULESI. A recipient of multiple prestigious international fellowships, she has published over 140 peer-reviewed articles and supervised numerous postgraduate students, including ten PhD candidates. In her 2021 inaugural lecture, she advocated for the sustainable cultivation and conservation of medicinal plants.

Dr. Ruben MOUANGUE received his training at the University of Yaoundé 1 (Cameroon) and at the University of Poitiers (France), within the Combustion and Detonics Laboratory of the École Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et d’Aérotechnique. He is a founding member and deputy coordinator of the “Cameroonian Combustion Group” (CCG), as well as the coordinator and founder of the Laboratory of Combustion and Green Technologies.
He is a member of the Expert Committee on Energy and Environmental Technologies and of the National Committee for the Development of Technologies (CNDT) of MINRESI (Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation).
He has taken part in numerous national and international conferences, workshops, seminars, and technical visits in the following countries: Cameroon, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Algeria, Ghana, Burkina Faso, and the Central African Republic.
He is the co-author of 35 indexed scientific publications and co-author of two conference proceedings books. He has co-supervised seven PhD/doctorate theses of students from Cameroon (2), Chad (1), and the Central African Republic (4).
He is a member of the Cameroon Academy of Young Scientists (CAYS).
Finally, he is the first director of the National Advanced School of Engineering of Douala, Cameroon
